Red Deer woman gets creative with Window Hearts Campaign

Janet Malmo was among the central Albertans who got creative recently to show gratitude to those still working amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Red Deer Advocate ran the Window Hearts Campaign asking local businesses and residents to decorate or colour a heart for their front door or window.

Malmo, 84, painstakingly decorated nine of the tributes and then laminated them. They have been placed on the newspaper’s front door by production manager Grant McCarthy, pictured above.
