Red Deerians arrested after truck was stolen in Rimbey

Both will appear in Red Deer court on May 24

Two Red Deer residents were arrested by Innisfail RCMP in connection with a vehicle stolen.

A patrolling Innisfail RCMP officer observed a suspicious truck driving in the town at about 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Police confirmed that the truck had been stolen from Rimbey on Tuesday. Police later spotted the same truck parked nearby. A male and a female were arrested without incident.

Spencer Esi Sandra Morrell, 30, of Red Deer is charged with possessing stolen property and a controlled substance.

Stanley John Westrop, 38, of Red Deer, has been charged with possessing stolen property and breach of recognizance.

Both were released on the condition they appear in Red Deer court on May 24.
