Red Deerians will soon have several more recreational opportunities.

Registration starts Thursday for private swim lessons, low-intensity fitness and preschool programming. These new programs can be viewed on Look n’ Book beginning at 8:00 a.m.

After working in consultation with community health officials, a number of new options are being made available, including private swims, preschool and sport programs and new low-intensity fitness activities.

As well, there will be individual use of fitness centre equipment such as free weights, stationary weight machines, limited cardio equipment and access to the track and stretching areas.

The city says find the Look ‘n Book for future programming such as badminton, rock climbing, multi-sport options and group fitness programs.

Facility reservations will continue to be available for households for $25 per one-hour, and virtual fitness continues to provide access to live, instructor-lead classes for a $25 per month Virtual Fitness Pass, or single class registration for $5 per class.
