The City of Red Deer has announced a temporary 20 Avenue trail closure.
Starting Wednesday, a portion of the 20 Avenue trail at 50 Street will close temporarily for construction.
The closure is expected to remain in place until Oct. 15, while construction crews complete the pathway’s restoration work.
A rough terrain detour around this work will be available. Trail users are asked to use alternate trails, obey signs and give the crew room to work.
This work is weather dependent and the schedule is subject to change
