Food-lovers can get some tips from the best in the Bowerlicious Virtual Foodie Tour.
For three Wednesdays in July, hour-long virtual workshops will be hosted by food experts Roxanne from Red Deer Eats, and Sunterra Markets chef Raj and chef Micah.
For $50, you can get a fresh curated kit filled with chef-selected ingredients from Sunterra Market, plus exclusive Bower Place store discounts.
A portion of the proceeds from each purchase will go to the Red Deer Outreach Centre.
The first event takes place July 7 from 6 to 7 p.m. Chef Raj will create a meal out of B.C. organic salmon fillets, turmeric cauliflower rice and other fresh foods. Influencer and style expert Brenna Hardy will highlight the season’s hottest swimwear trends.
On July 14 from 6 to 7 p.m., Chef Raj has pork chops, a seasonal chacuterie board and local seasonal veggies on the menu. Design expert Kiki Davies will show you how to create a stylish outdoor table setting.
On July 21 from 6 to 7 p.m., Chef Micah shows how to cook ribs to perfection and how to prepare tacos al pastor and grilled corn. Adventurer Lance Floreani will demonstrate the latest backpacking gear.
On July 28 from 6 to 7 p.m. Chef Micah will make Instagram-worthy sandwiches and bite-sized desserts while influencer and stylist Brenna Hardy will share her tips on giving a ‘gram worhy high tea.
