Red Deer’s Canyon Ski Resort is closed for the rest of the season amid COVID-19

Red Deer’s Canyon Ski Resort is closed for the rest of the season.

The ski hill made the announcement Tuesday night on Facebook.

“After careful consideration and deliberation regarding the rapidly growing concern over COVID-19, and the decision by the city to announce a local state of emergency, Canyon Ski Resort will be ceasing operations for the season,” the Facebook post states.
