Red Deer aquatic centres are now returning to their regular fall hours while outdoor water features close for the season.
Following an active summer, Blue Grass Sod Farm Central Spray & Play, Woody’s Spray Park and Discovery Canyon will close for the season this long weekend as crews begin winterizing and completing end-of-season repairs.
The Recreation Centre outdoor pool will close for the season at 5 p.m. Monday.
Effective Tuesday, Sept. 5, the Red Deer Recreation Centre will be open Monday to Thursday 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 12 to 5 p.m.
The Michener Aquatic Centre re-opens Tuesday, Sept. 5 after annual maintenance is complete.
