Regina police say male driver dies at scene after collision with large truck

REGINA — Police in Regina are investigating a fatal crash in the city late Friday night.

They say their initial investigation indicates a vehicle rear-ended a large truck on McDonald St. just before 11:30 p.m.

Police say the driver of the vehicle died at the scene.

They say a 39-year-old man who was a passenger in the vehicle was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver of the truck wasn’t injured.

The name of the deceased was not immediately released.
