Canadian national cross-country ski team member Drew Goldsack addresses golfers attending the third annual Road To Gold Golf Tournament at the Red Deer Golf and Country Club othis week. After playing a round of golf, Goldsack took to the microphone to speak about what it means to him to have the support of a community like Red Deer behind him as he prepares for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver/Whistler. The Alberta Sport Development Centre and the Ron MacLean Foundation both benefitted from the event, with about $25,000 expected to be raised during the silent and live auction on Sunday evening and the golf tournament on Monday at the Golf and Country Club.
