Rocky Mountain House RCMP seize firearms

Rocky Mountain House RCMP seized firearms and drugs from a vehicle.

One of the weapons was a sawed-off shotgun.

Police officers spotted a vehicle being driven in a suspicious manner at 11:35 p.m. Wednesday in Caroline and conducted a traffic stop.

The driver was also arrested at the scene.

The passenger in the vehicle fled, but was arrested shortly after and found to have an outstanding arrest warrant.

Officers seized three loaded firearms and ammunition, as well as what is believed to be methamphetamine, following a search of the vehicle.

Jason Glenn, 37, and Dustin Black, 27, were taken into custody on a multitude of firearms offences. Both are scheduled to appear in court on April 6.
