Rocky Mountain House RCMP seized drugs and guns while searching a property on Thursday.

Police said they found cocaine, methamphetamine, magic mushrooms and other illicit drugs. A large number of illegal high powered rifles and shotguns were also seized.

The arrest was made following a lengthy investigation.

A 30-year-old Rocky Mountain House man was charged with several counts of drug trafficking, proceeds of crime under $5,000, unlawful possession of firearms, unsafe storage of firearms and other criminal charges.

He was also charged with crimes allegedly committed in Medicine Hat.

The man was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Red Deer provincial court on Monday.
