Rocky Mountain House RCMP say they have focused their efforts on getting drugs off the streets.

In August and September, the detachment’s general investigation section, in conjunction with the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team, targeted the activities of local street-level drug trafficking.

As a result of the project, 26 charges were laid against 10 people.

Wyatt Gordon, 28, Tara Caissie, 24, Jordan Ross-Achtemichuk, 25, Cole Leslie, 23, Curtis Thompson, 36, Jarryd Brick, 28, Richard Locke, 44, Kayle Streatch, 20, Jonah Smigle, 20, and Christopher Clark, 33, all faces charges.

Thompson and Brick were remanded into custody and Caissie was released on $250 bail.

The remaining have been released on no cash bail.

Locke and Ross-Achtemichuk remain at large on outstanding warrants of arrest.
