An O’Chiese First Nation woman missing since Sunday evening has been found dead.
Rocky Mountain House Search and Rescue and local RCMP found a body, tentatively identified as Crystal Whitford, 41, about 10:45 a.m. at O’Chiese First Nation.
Whitford was seen leaving her home about 6 p.m. on Sunday. She was walking on a path in the woods near her residence on the reserve.
RCMP continue to investigate and are asking anyone who may have seen her, or who may have information, to contact Rocky Mountain RCMP at 403-845-2882 or your local police.
