Rocky youth arrested in Sask. homicide

A 15-year-old male youth from Rocky Mountain House was charged in connection with a homicide in Prince Albert, Sask.

A 15-year-old male youth from Rocky Mountain House was charged in connection with a homicide in Prince Albert, Sask.

He is the third person charged in the murder of Dakota Nayneecassum, 18, on Sept. 15.

The Rocky youth, who cannot be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder.

He was arrested in Alberta and transported back to Prince Albert.

Co-accused Blake David Norman, 22, of Muskoday First Nation, and Kyle Goodrich, 23, of Edmonton, also face charges of first-degree murder and attempted murder.

All three remain in custody.

Prince Albert Police Service continue to investigate.
