Tourism Red Deer has a new Destination Development Manager.

According to a release, Rondeau’s passion for the tourism industry makes him a perfect fit for the new position.

“Rene’s leadership and his unique ability to champion the cause of tourism in Red Deer have been instrumental for our organization,” said Tourism Red Deer’s Board of Directors in a press release.

“His move to the role of Destination Development Manager aligns with our strategic goals, and we’re ecstatic to see the leadership he will bring to further enhance our community.”

Rondeau hopes to help the organization reach new heights with the role.

“I am very excited to channel my passion for tourism in this new role,” he said.

“Together with our dedicated team at Tourism Red Deer, I look forward to focusing my work on developing a brighter and dynamic future for our members and our diverse tourism industry.”

Just last week, Tourism Red Deer named Jesse Smith as its new CEO.
