Local running legend Bill Nielsen, centre, who has run a total of 100 marathons and ultra marathon champion Scott Jurek, centre left, the course record holder and seven time winner of the Western States 100-mile Endurance Run and two time winner of the 217-kilometre Badwater Ultramarathon lead a pack of runners out on a Friendship Run Saturday morning. About 1,100 runners will be hitting the trails in Red Deer today during the 11th annual Woody’s RV World Marathon and Half Marathon.
