Rocky Mountain House RCMP are continuing to search for a missing man, whose vehicle was located in Clearwater County.
Wade Richard Velichka, 47, of Rocky Mountain House, was last seen in Calgary on Aug. 7. RCMP received a missing person report on him on Thursday.
Police have located his vehicle in Clearwater County. A ground search of the area was conducted with the assistance of Police Dog Services, Rocky Mountain House Search and Rescue and Clearwater County Fire Rescue Services, but Velichka has not yet been located.
The ground search continued Monday.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Velichka as there is concern for his well being.
Wade Velichka is described as 6 foot 2, 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white tank top, grey DC hat, blue jeans and white DC shoes.
