The City of Red Deer has successfully completed its second of a three-year pilot for E-Scooters.

Although the city has received plenty of informal feedback on the program, they are hoping to collect feedback on some of the changes to the pilot this year.

They have launched a survey online until November 18, where citizens can help determine the future of E-Scooters beyond the end of the pilot program.

“This feedback will help determine if e-scooters will remain a permanent part of our seasonal transportation options after the pilot program,” the city said in a release.

E-Scooters will return for the final season of the pilot program on March 15 or later, depending on the weather.

“Through public feedback and data collection, The City will determine whether and under what circumstances e-scooters will be permitted to continue operating after the pilot ends,” the city said.

Red Deerians can visit reddeer.ca/escooter to take the short survey and ensure their thoughts and ideas are included in our research.
