A section of 50th Street west of 49th Avenue will be closed until Wednesday afternoon as crews replace a fire hydrant.
As of 7 a.m. Monday 50th Street was closed west of 49th Avenue until 4 p.m. Wednesday. Motorists are able to use the 52nd Street and 50th Avenue as a detour.
Drivers are reminded to slow down in construction areas and obey all signs. All road construction is weather dependent and schedules may be subject to change.
