Several collisions reported on central Alberta highways Tuesday: RCMP

Blackfalds RCMP responded Tuesday morning to several collisions throughout Highways 2, 2A, 11 and 11A.

Road conditions were poor for travel. Police were asking motorists to avoid unnecessary travel, and if it can’t be avoided, drive according to winter conditions.

Slow down and leave room between vehicles, said police.

The RCMP is dedicated to helping ensure that community members have a safe holiday season and this starts with safe travels.
