Grade 12 students at Notre Dame High School in Red Deer watch intently as the movie Shattered is played in the gymnasium at the school on Wednesday. Mothers Against Drunk Driving is touring with the film and production across the country, bringing its powerful message to teens who may be tempted to drink and drive or get into a vehicle with someone who has been drinking. The film chronicles how quickly a single decision can change lives forever. Victims’ stories provide a glimpse of the grief and heartache felt by those who have lost loved ones or suffered injuries. MADD also made a presentation at Lindsay Thurber later in the day. MADD hopes to take the message to over one million students through this school year.
