Olds College is hosting its second A Celebration of Alberta Ag. The free two-hour live-streamed event on Friday, April 8, will be celebrating the resiliency of Alberta’s agriculture industry.

“From field to fork, and all the producers and businesses in between that support our food supply chain, agriculture plays a vital role in the economic success of Alberta,” said Stuart Cullum, President, Olds College.

He added the college looks forward to sharing information about applied research on the Smart Farm and its “hands-on, high-tech academic programs.” Organizers also anticipate celebrating the partners that contribute to the college’s success.

The virtual event, featuring entertainment by Alberta’s country crooner Aaron Goodvin, can be seen from 7 to 9 p.m. on the college’s website. (Tune in to: oldscollege.ca/CelebrateAlbertaAg). It will be streamed live from the Olds College campus.

Those interested in attending A Celebration of Alberta Ag can register for their free “ticket” at oldscollege.ca/CelebrateAlbertaAg. For more information, please visit that site.
