Six youths facing 133 charges after Rocky crime spree

Six youths from the Rocky Mountain House area face 133 charges following a large number of property crimes and an extensive police investigation.

Six youths from the Rocky Mountain House area face 133 charges following a large number of property crimes and an extensive police investigation.

On Jan. 25, Rocky Mountain House RCMP responded to more than 20 calls relating to spray painting property and theft from unlocked vehicles in the town.

Police also observed additional damage to property and vehicles while on patrols during their investigation and notified homeowners of the damage.

The charges range from mischief to theft and possession of stolen property. The youths are scheduled to appear in Rocky Mountain House provincial court.

Police are reminding the public to lock their vehicles and not leave valuables in plain view.
