Camile J. Larouge teacher Mavis Menzies helps her students get started on a small hill in the Lindsay Thurber High School playing field on Thursday. The Grade 2 skiers who were taking their sixth ski lesson were enjoying perfect snow conditions and a warm chinook wind during their afternoon of skiing.
