Snowfall warning still in effect for Red Deer, parts of central Alberta

A snowfall warning which came was issued Monday is still in effect in Red Deer and parts of central Alberta.

A snowfall warning which came was issued Monday is still in effect in Red Deer and parts of central Alberta.

Red Deerians can expect the heavy snow at times to end this afternoon states Environment Canada.

Temperature will hover around -11 C this afternoon and at around -17 C with the wind chill.

Tuesday night will be a lot of -18 C.

Expect a mix of sun and cloud Wednesday with a high of -5C and wind chill of -24 C in the morning an -9 C in the afternoon.

The snowfall warning is in effect for parts of Red Deer County near Sylvan Lake, Spruce View, Penhold, Innisfail and Bowden, Ponoka County near Ponoka and Maskwacis, Lacombe County near Lacombe, Blackfalds and Bentley.

The warning is also in effect for parts of County of Stettler, Camrose County and Flagstaff County.
