Some Red Deer trails closed due to flooding Sunday

The City of Red Deer closed more trails due to flooding over the weekend.

The City of Red Deer closed more trails due to flooding over the weekend.

The trail between 67th Street and Three Mile Bend and the one next to the Lions Campground, from 67th Street to 49th Avenue, are closed.

Additionally, the trail from the CPR pedestrian bridge to Bower Ponds and the trail from Great Chief Park (Kiwanis Picnic area) to the Heritage Ranch pedestrian bridge are also shut.

The city announced there are barricades for the safety of all trail users.
