Central Alberta folk/rock singer Ryon Holmedal will be creating an “immersive” musical experience Saturday at the Dream Centre in downtown Red Deer.

The artist, who just completed his conceptual album Silver Thread, will be bringing his audio/visual stage show titled Tethers to 4618 50th Ave.

The show that’s toured Western Canada is described as being about “the uniqueness of our human experience in this unimaginably large universe.”

Alternative and progressive rock and ambient instrumental music, and a thoughtful narrative, will be paired with a high-definition, changing backdrop “to explore a story we all share.”

Desserts will also be served.

Holmedal’s new album, which has had some radio play on CKUA and other stations, will be available on vinyl or by download at his 7:30 p.m. show.
