Beth Anthony gets a spanking from United Way colleague Jennifer Forest as they try to keep warm while staffing a barbecue outside the charitable group’s 48th Street offices Thursday.
The community event, held over the lunch hour, was intended to help bring in additional funds to meet the United Way’s fundraising goal of $2.1 million this year.
