The St. Joseph High School graduating class in Red Deer has come up big for the Red Deer Dream Centre.
As their grade service project, the students were able to fundraise in a variety of ways and donate $11,000 to the dream centre.
“It’s so awesome to see these young Grade 12’s making an impact!” said Wes Giesbrecht, President of the Red Deer Dream Centre Society.
On the school’s website, they said “through the Grad Service Project, students have an opportunity to think creatively about their fundraising efforts, and plan proficient ways to support those in need through referral, advocacy, and financial assistance”.
