RCMP aren’t getting far with their investigations of two stabbings in Red Deer on Wednesday.

Neither victim was co-operating with police efforts to find the assailants.

The first incident had RCMP officers respond to a 12:15 p.m. complaint to a residence in the 4200 block of 40A Avenue.

They arrived to find a man suffering from multiple stab wounds to his legs. He was taken to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

The second incident occurred at 3:35 p.m. at Eastview Centre.

A man walked into the Sobey’s store and asked for an ambulance after suffering stab wounds to his hand. He was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.

“A lot of time, speaking from experience, I can say people are not co-operative,” said RCMP Cpl. Sarah Knelsen.
