Stanley Cup comes to Elnora

Mike Kadar, the Pittsburgh Penguins’ strength and conditioning coach, arrives at the Elnora Community Hall with the Stanley Cup Saturday. Mayor Dale Brown declared Aug. 22 Mike Kadar Day in honour of him bringing the NHL championship trophy to the village. Hundreds of people from the Elnora, Trochu and Delburne areas turned out for the event, which also featured fundraisers for the village’s skating club and new youth centre.
