Stettler Mounties looking for gas and dash theft suspect

STETTLER — Police are looking for a man who put more than $170 of fuel in a vehicle and fled without paying.

Stettler RCMP said the incident occurred on Feb. 18 at about 7 p.m. at the Stettler Fas Gas. They said the suspect drove off without paying for $179.66 in fuel.

According to police, a second male was in the passenger seat while the suspect filled the vehicle with fuel.

Police describe the suspect as having a light skin complexion and say he wore a grey tuque, a dark puffer jacket and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Stettler RCMP at 403-742-3382 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
