RCMP believe an accident caused the death of a Stettler woman whose body was found in her Main Street apartment early Monday morning.

Tamela Norris, 35, lived alone in the suite, Sgt. Rowland Schmidt of the Stettler detachment said on Wednesday.

While he is still awaiting some results from the Medical Examiner, Schmidt said there has been no indication of a suspicious death.

Stettler RCMP investigated the accident with assistance of the Red Deer forensic identification section and officers from the major crime unit at the RCMP’s Alberta headquarters in Edmonton.
