A stolen firearm and vehicle were recovered by police Thursday at a Blackfalds residence.
A Blackfalds RCMP member was conducting patrols when the vehicle was located at a Westridge Drive residence.
Several improperly stored firearms, and a gun that was reported stolen during a break and enter in Ponoka, were found when a search warrant was executed.
Kevin John Brown, 49, of Blackfalds, who was arrested at the home, had a court order prohibiting him from possessing firearms.
He was charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, 12 counts of unsafe storage of a firearm and 15 counts of failing to comply with a court order.
The suspect was remanded into custody to appear in Red Deer provincial court.
