One man was arrested and another is on the loose after allegedly getting involved in a collision while driving a stolen vehicle.

Innisfail RCMP were patrolling Friday when officers spotted two men outside a stolen Chrysler Pacifica.

Police attempted an arrest, but both men managed to get into the stolen vehicle and flee, clipping a police officer with the vehicle’s mirror. The officer was not injured.

The driver continued to race away and collided with a motorist. The collision did not stop the driver, who continued until hitting an underground parking barricade.

Both men fled on foot. Police were able to arrest one of the men. The driver managed to escape.

Chase Gordon Donovan, 25, of Red Deer, is wanted on a number of charges, including possessing property obtained by crime over $5,000, assaulting to resist or prevent arrest and flight from police.

Jesse Bulechowsky, 37, of Innisfail, was arrested and is also facing a number of charges, including possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, resisting arrest and flight from police.
