Two people sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a collision in Penhold early Monday morning that closed a section of Hwy 2A for more than an hour.
The collision closed Hwy 2A from Hawkridge Boulevard to Hwy 42 until 9:30 a.m.
The 8:21 a.m. collision injured a pregnant woman and six-year-old child.
The second vehicle involved in the collision was determined stolen and departed the scene with two suspects inside. Innisfail RCMP are investigating.
Penhold fire, EMS and RCMP responded to the crash.
