Red Deer College will host the annual Alberta Band Association’s Provincial Festival of Bands starting next week.
Approximately 7,000 junior, senior and community band students from across Western Canada will compete May 13 to 16 and May 21 to 24.
Adjudicators, educators and clinicians from across Canada and the United States will be judging this year’s festival.
Students will also take part in clinics and sight-reading activities.
The public is invited to attend the free performances on RDC’s main campus from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily in the RDC Arts Centre.
