The ongoing pandemic didn’t stop the students at École La Prairie school in Red Deer to put a smile on some of the city’s seniors.
An upwards of 75 holiday cards – wishing seniors a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year were prepared at the school and kept aside for two weeks.
To deliver the high number of cards, students created and designed an envelope – that’s 46 by 61 centimetres in size.
The cards were delivered to seniors in the neighbourhood at Barrett Kiwanis Place.
