Artists interested in having their creativity displayed sometime during 2011 in the Kiwanis Gallery at the Red Deer Public Library need to get their submissions in by Sept. 24.
The Red Deer Arts Council wants interested painters, ceramicists, sculptors and other artists to mail in a resume, a biography, a brief statement, and a CD (with a minimum of five jpg images of selected works) for consideration by a committee. The work being presented must not have been previously shown in the Red Deer area, and photos must be non-altered.
The Red Deer Arts Council is at 111 4818 50th Ave., Red Deer, Alta., T4N4A3. Those who want their materials returned must include a return envelope with appropriate postage.
