Instructor Suzanne Blackwell leads a yoga class outside the Golden Circle as part of Alberta Active Living Challenge Day activities Thursday. For the ninth year running, Red Deer residents were pitted against those of Grande Prairie in the Summer Active Challenge, with citizens participating in 30 minutes of activity and then until Monday registering their activity by phoning 403-342-3134 or emailing emily.nadon@rdc.ab.ca. Last year, 15,803 people took part in Red Deer.
