A missing Calgary hunter was located by rescuers Monday at approximately 8:30 p.m., say Sundre RCMP.

Timothy Benedict Campbell was found in the Williams Creek area, west of Sundre, where he was reported missing Saturday.

He was taken to hospital, where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The Calgary man went hunting with his son and an adult male friend. Campbell went off on an animal track and did not return to the group.

His son and friend returned safe after they could not locate him and contacted police.
