Red Deer’s Sunnybrook Farm Museum is throwing its annual Pioneer Days Festival this weekend.

A bevy of events are planned for Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a Pioneer Breakfast, as well as some tractor pulls, a tractor parade and threshing demonstrations.

Sweets-lovers can go on a cookie walk, purchase home-made pie and other foods at a concession. There will also be a silent auction and many children activities, including face-painting and more.

Kids can also checkout the goats, sheep, pigs and other farm animals, while vintage cars and heritage buildings will help roll back time to an earlier era.

The cost is $15 per family or $5 per person. For more information, please visit sunnybrookfarmmuseum.ca/events.htm.
