The Alberta Addicts Who Educate and Advocate Responsibly is starting a new chapter in Red Deer.
The organization aims to amplify and support the voices of people who use drugs in an effort to improve health outcomes.
AAWEAR team members from Calgary and Edmonton will host an information session on Friday at Turning Point between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to help tidy the community while connecting with the homeless population.
The event is open to the general public, community service providers, businesses in support of harm reduction, and people who come from lived/ living experience of hard drug use.
