Olds RCMP have arrested a male for break and enter and 15 outstanding warrants.

On Monday, Olds police received a report of a weekend break and enter at a business on Imperial Way.

Video surveillance assisted police in identifying the suspect, who was arrested in Olds on Monday afternoon.

The stolen property, which included welding equipment and several tools valued at $7,000, was recovered at a residence in the town.

Shannon Roy Hillman, 38, of Olds has been charged with break and enter to a business, theft over $5,000 and possession of stolen property over $5,000.

Hillman was also arrested on 15 outstanding warrants, including one in relation to the placement of a homemade explosive device outside an Olds business last October.

Hillman has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing Thursday in Airdrie provincial court.
