Suspects sought in connection with clothing store robbery

Blackfalds RCMP are looking for two suspects after a theft in Gasoline Alley on Saturday on the outskirts of Red Deer.

Police say two men fled the scene after a shoplifting incident at the Synik Clothing store.

One of the men is suspected of theft under $5,000 and believed to have concealed items on his person. He began a struggle when confronted by a staff member, police say.

The suspect allegedly caused damaged to the store in his attempt to escape. He fled on foot and was picked up in a dark-coloured truck by Glenn’s Family Restaurant.

The first suspect is described as Caucasian with short brown hair, wearing jeans, a black winter coat with an orange lining, a grey hooded sweater, grey baseball cap and black shoes with white around the soles.

The second suspect is also Caucasian with longer dirty blond hair, wearing a grey baseball cap, white sunglasses with black lenses, grey jacket and dark-coloured shoes.
