Suspects sought in connection with robbery and assault in Sylvan Lake

Sylvan Lake RCMP are looking for three suspects who assaulted a man after robbing his apartment on Sunday.

One of three suspects Sylvan Lake RCMP are seeking in connection with robbery and assault which happened at 1:45 a.m. at 59 Hinshaw Drive.

Sylvan Lake RCMP are looking for three suspects who assaulted a man after robbing his apartment on Sunday.

Police say the victim was going up the stairs at his apartment at 59 Hinshaw Drive in Sylvan Lake when a man attacked him around 1:45 a.m.

The suspect struck the victim in the face multiple times causing a large gash to his chin area. Three suspects then fled the apartment with jewelry, the victim’s car keys and his car.

One suspect is described as a Caucasian man with long straight blonde hair and a full beard. He wore a beige jacket with a green crest on the left chest, blue jeans and brown boots.

A second suspect is described as a Caucasian man with short hair, very muscular and wearing a jacket.

The third suspect is described as a short and thin Caucasian female. She wore a red tank top, a full sleeve tattoo down her arm and wore blue or navy sweat pants, running shoes. She did not wear a jacket.

The victim’s car is a four-door 2014 Mazda 2, dark black in colour, bearing Alberta licence plate K65217.
