Blackfalds RCMP are looking for suspects involved in three armed robberies that occurred within minutes of each other on Monday night.

Police say that around 9 p.m., a man with a handgun entered the Canadian Pizza on Parkwood Road and demanded that the clerk hand over an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police believe the suspect then ran to the Liquor Store on Hwy 2A, just north of the Canadian Pizza in the same strip mall, and brandished a handgun while again demanding money from the clerk before leaving the store.

Minutes later, two suspects entered the Pony Express Liquor Store, south of the first two armed robberies, and demanded the cash from the till and left the store.

None of the clerks were hurt in the three robberies.

Blackfalds RCMP are attempting to identify the suspects and vehicles, if any, involved.

Anyone with information that may help the investigation is asked to call the Blackfalds RCMP complaint line, 403-885-3333. To remain anonymous, submit information online to www.tipsubmit.com or call Crime Stoppers, 1-800-222-8477.
