A 911 call received by Ponoka RCMP on Tuesday led to an arrest and multiple warrants being executed.

At 2:32 a.m., the RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious parked vehicle and a man acting suspiciously outside of it.

Ponoka RCMP responded, located the vehicle and arrested Jordy Brent House, 34, who was wanted on multiple arrest warrants out of Edmonton and Stony Plain. He has been remanded in custody.

The public is thanked for their contribution to a safer Ponoka community. Calling in suspicious activity allows the RCMP the opportunity to assess potentially dangerous or criminal situations, said police.
