A Sports Utility Vehicle crashed into the side of Sproule’s Mountview IDA early Saturday morning.
It appeared only the driver was injured in the crash, but there was extensive damage to the outside wall and interior of the pharmacy and convenience store.
“Due to an emergency situation our store is currently CLOSED for the foreseeable,” read a post on the store’s Facebook page.
“Everybody is okay, for those who are concerned about the incident.”
They said that customers looking for perscriptions should contact Gaetz IDA Pharmacy.
At 10:24 a.m., the City of Red Deer tweeted that Red Deer Emergency Services responded to a vehicle collision at Mountview IDA.
The vehicle involved in the crash was pulled out of the building by a tow truck around 1:30 p.m.
