Odds and Ends: an art making adventure for all ages takes place on Aug. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Red Deer Public Library. Learn how to use odds and ends to create jungle animal art for your home. A & W Cruisin’ for a Cause Day goes on Aug. 26. For every teen burger sold that day at any A & W Restaurant, $1 will go to the MS Society of Canada.

Old-fashioned drive-in movie night will be held at the Queens Diner in the Burnt Lake Business Park on Aug. 27. Doors open at 6 p.m., band plays at 7 and the movie begins at dusk.
